An elderly Tennessee widow aired a simple three-word message to cross off the last remaining item on her bucket list.
Shirley Batchelder, 94, of Franklin purchased five seconds of commercial air time. Her message?
“Love one another,” she told WSMV-TV. “Love one another.”
She told the station that she had been accomplishing her bucket-list goals for years and that the message was the final one.
Batchelder said she was married for 57 years and spoke glowingly of her departed husband.
“He was dark, curly hair, handsome as can be,” she said.
As for her message, she said it’s up to people to decide what to do with it.
She’s just happy her bucket list is complete.
