‘An act of war, fool!’ Michelle Malkin sets Obama straight on wussy comments about Marines killed on US soil

Conservatives think President Barack Obama is  a “fool” for ignoring the realities of Islamist terrorism — and that’s putting it mildly.

Obama attributed Thursday’s horrific shootings of four U.S. Marines in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to a “lone gunman.”

“We don’t know yet all the details,” Obama said of what he called the “heartbreaking circumstance.” “We know that what appears to be a lone gunman carried out these attacks.”

He extended “the deepest sympathies of the American people” to the slain Marines’ families, and asked all Americans to pray for them.

That was all.

“Heartbreaking circumstance”?

Chattanooga marks the seventh Islamist terror attack on U.S. soil since Obama took office. That’s not a circumstance, heartbreaking or otherwise.

Author and columnist Michelle Malkin immediately got on the horn and tweeted:

Malkin received plenty of support, including one who noted the only “heartbreaking circumstance” of the shooting: that U.S. military installations have been made “gun-free zones.”

Before Obama made made his brief statement on the shootings, he extended a “happy Eid-ul-Fitr” to U.S. Muslims.
