Geraldo nearly comes to blows with co-host over immigration: ‘I’d knock you out right now!’

thefive0714smallFireworks were flying on “The Five” Monday – and things got personal.

A immigration debate among Geraldo Rivera, Jesse Watters and Eric Bolling got so heated that Geraldo at one point seemed to actually threaten physical violence.

“You’re lucky you’re my friend,” he told Bolling. “I’d knock you out right now!”

What set Geraldo off started with Watters, who said the recent rise of GOP contender Donald Trump was due to an untapped anger among Americans over crime by illegal aliens.

When Bolling supported Watters, Geraldo accused them both of blowing things out of proportion.

“It’s exploiting, it’s sensationalizing…,” he said.

Bolling scoffed.

“From a guy who exploits and sensationalizes everything!” he said.

That was too close to home for Geraldo, and that’s when the “knock out” threat came.

“That’s absolute BS!” Geraldo said. “What do you do? Where do you get your stuff from?”

It’s also when  Kimberly Guilfoyle announced a break for a commercial — and give everyone a chance to cool down.

CORRECTION: The initial version of this post misidentified the “Five” co-host who announced the commercial break. It was  Kimberly Guilfoyle.
