A miracle in the NY Times! Full page loaded with unlikely message

New York Times readers experienced a rare event this week when the newspaper ran a full-page ad that promoted a massive Christian concert and preached the gospel message.

The concert is called NY CityFest and will take place in Central Park on Saturday. It’s headlined by internationally known evangelist Luis Palau and other Christian mega-stars such as Toby Mac, Matt Redman, and Mandisa.

The ad included the story of Jesus’ death, and resurrection: the full Christian message of salvation presented in the Bible.

Appearing in the paper’s arts and entertainment section Tuesday, the ad reads, “The greatest news the world has ever heard is the message of Jesus. As the Bible tells us: Jesus came that we might have life, and ‘life to the fullest.’ He came to ‘save us from our sin’ and put us back into ‘a right relationship with God. Jesus died for us, yet the grave couldn’t hold him. He rose again. He conquered death. And now, anyone who puts their trust in him and asks for his grace will be reconciled to God.”

According to the Blaze, the event is likely to draw tens of thousands.
