The poll results declaring America’s favorite fast food chain restaurant are in, and they’re sure to make liberals’ heads explode.
In a poll of 70,000 people, the annual American Consumer Satisfaction index found that Americans prefer the Christian-run Chick-fil-A.
The restaurant was protested and boycotted in 2012 after an interview with company President Dan Cathy appeared in The Baptist Press saying he supported traditional marriage.
“We are very much supportive of the family — the biblical definition of the family unit,” he said at the time. ”We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that.”
Last week, in an attempt to mock the chain, a New York based ad agency redesigned the company’s logo in rainbow colors, along with other companies deemed by the agency as “anti-gay.”
Obviously all the mocking and boycotting failed.
Forrest Morgeson, director of research at ACSI, told CNN Money the reason for the restaurant’s success is its focus on one product.
“It is laser-focused on a particular product,” he said. “It focuses on one thing and does it exceptionally well … and that is chicken sandwiches.”
CNN reported that this is Chick-Fil-A’s debut in the category and not only did the Christian-run restaurant win, it attained the highest score ever — 86 out of 100 — in its category.
Maybe other companies ought to try getting boycotted by liberals.
