‘Black Lives Matter,’ pastors collide with new rainbow America: ‘We will not obey an unjust law’

Black America doesn’t seem thrilled with Friday’s Supreme Court ruling that legalized gay marriage nationwide, and in some cases it seems jealousy is involved.

A coalition of African-American pastors vowed there would be massive civil disobedience in the wake of legalizing gay marriage, according to The Christian Post. The Coalition of African-American Pastors held a news conference in Memphis, Tennessee, earlier this week to warn the Obama administration that churches would not be bullied into redefining marriage.

“If they rule for same-sex marriage, then we’re going to do the same thing we did for the civil rights movement,” said the Rev. Bill Owens, president and founder of CAAP. “We will not obey an unjust law.”

The pastors made clear they didn’t care how the high court ruled on gay marriage, they would stick to their principles.

“The politicians and courts have tried to take God out of this country,” Owens said. “This country was founded on Godly principles. We will not stand back.”

The “Black Lives Matter” crowd, however, took a far less principled stand against the ruling. Apparently activists within the black community were upset that the “gay rights” issue was stealing the spotlight from their cause.

Wait… Seriously? It’s illegal to be a black man in America? When was that law passed?

Apparently liberal causes are only worthwhile if their preferred hashtags are trending.

And so it begins . . . time to legalize polygamy
