Well, that didn’t take long.
Just after Bristol Palin made the announcement on Thursday that she’s pregnant with her second child, one popular tabloid website used the occasion to promote abortion.
With seemingly no shame, Gawker released an article titled “Bristol Palin makes great argument for abortion in baby announcement.”

Gawker was quick to jump on the “progressive” hate bandwagon after Bristol, daughter of conservative firebrand Sarah Palin, published a blog titled “Big News” about her pregnancy:
I wanted you guys to be the first to know that I am pregnant. Honestly, I’ve been trying my hardest to keep my chin up on this one.
Palin has been going through a rough time. Last May, her wedding to Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer was abruptly canceled. Now Palin’s candid writing makes it clear she has mixed emotions about expecting a second child:
Life moves on no matter what. So no matter how you feel, you get up, get dressed, show up, and never give up.
When life gets tough, there is no other option but to get tougher.
I know this has been, and will be, a huge disappointment to my family, to my close friends, and to many of you.
Gawker capitalized on Palin’s vulnerability, saying the young mother was suppressing her “extreme dread” over the situation, adding, “It sounds like nobody, least of all Bristol, wants her to have this baby.”
While Palin’s announcement came with a heavy heart, many felt she sounded like she’s ready for the challenge. Palin found plenty of support on Twitter – and Gawker, with its hateful message, made certain of that.
Just when I thought @Gawker couldn’t sink any lower, you guys have outdone yourselves.
