Disgraced journalist Brian Williams won’t be returning to his prestigious spot on “NBC Nightly News,” but he is being welcomed back to a position where he will fit right in – on the network’s hyperbolic-propaganda wing also known as MSNBC.
According to the New York Times, Williams will be joining the not-so-prestigious ranks of race-baiting MSNBC pontificators, Melisa Harris-Perry, Chris Matthews, Rachael Maddow and “Reverend” Al Sharpton – to name a few.
Williams famously dismissed himself from his “Nightly News” spot after his tall tales of heroism during an Army Chinook helicopter ride in Iraq turned out to be just that – a bunch of hooey.

Execs at NBC begrudgingly suspended Williams without pay after a huge public backlash. Now it would seem to the coherent world, that NBC is rubbing Williams’s nose in it by banishing him to the cable TV hinterlands.
Only in the biased news-world of false narratives, it makes perfect sense.
According to the Times, there is going to be a huge push to revitalize MSNBC’s dismal ratings and shoddy credibility.
Naturally, they hired someone who’s been suspended for lying to restore the network’s “honor.”

A source told the Times, that if Williams can win back the trust of the viewers, he could “eventually return to a more prominent position at NBC.”
Winning the trust of MSNBC viewers shouldn’t be hard, even if Williams wants to keep his tall-tales intact.
Many of the details of the contract between Williams and NBC remain top secret.
In the meantime, it’s been reported by the Times, that Lester Holt, who has been filling in for Williams will permanently takeover the position at “Nightly News.”
One can image that Holt is breathing a huge sigh of relief – for a lot reasons.
