Whadda ya know, 120 pages of new Clinton Libya-Benghazi emails DISCOVERED

Hillary Clinton’s shroud of secrecy surrounding the terror attack in Benghazi is slowly coming undone.

Politico reported Tuesday that dozens of Libya communications between longtime Clinton friend and adviser, Sidney Blumenthal and Clinton had been withheld from the House Select Committee on Benghazi.

“These emails were not previously produced to the Committee or released to the public, and they will help inform tomorrow’s deposition,” Chairman Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., said in a statement Monday.

“We are prepared to release the emails.”

According to Politico:

The House Select Committee on Benghazi had quietly subpoenaed Blumenthal’s Libya emails. And on Friday, the longtime Clinton family friend — who is set to testify before investigators behind closed doors Tuesday morning — handed over 120 pages worth of new Libya- and Benghazi-related emails.

The lengthy correspondence that was never disclosed to Benghazi investigators suggests that either the State Department or Hillary Clinton purposely withheld the information.

A State Department spokesman is downplaying the discovery, according to Politico.

“The Department is working diligently to publish to its public website all of the emails received from former Secretary Clinton through the FOIA process,” Alec Gerlach said in a statement.

“We provided the Committee with a subset of documents that matched its request and will continue to work with them going forward.”

The State Department maintains the investigative panel requested only Benghazi-related emails, but a 2014 letter to Clinton’s lawyer suggests otherwise:

“Please provide, as soon as possible but no later than Dec. 31, 2014, any and all documents and communications referring or relating to a.) Libya (including but not limited to Benghazi and Tripoli), and/or b) weapons located or found in, imported or brought into, and/or exported or removed from Libya, authored by, sent to, or received by the email address ‘hdr22@clintonemail.com’ between Jan. 1, 2011 through Dec. 31, 2013.”

Investigators are hoping that Blumenthal’s behind-closed-doors-testimony will finally open some doors towards the truth of what led to the horrific murders of four Americans in Benghazi.
