After learning of the U.S. Border Patrol helicopter forced to make an emergency landing by gunfire from Mexico Friday, two Republican lawmakers wanted to see the damage for themselves.
Utah Rep. Jason Chaffetz and Texas Rep. Blake Farenthold flew to Texas Sunday to assess the damage and border security situation.
Chaffetz and Farenthold posted pictures of their visit to Instagram, including a picture of the helicopter posted by Chaffetz that showed the incident could have ended much worse.
