Obama toady claims Triple Crown a win for THE PRESIDENT? Social media hits back with sarcasm, scorn

A former Obama adviser and current CNN contributor claimed Saturday that President Obama is the first president to have won the Triple Crown of horse racing since Jimmy Carter.

Claiming credit where literally none is due is the flipside of the Obama trademark of evading responsibility, but  former Obama senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer took it to a new low Saturday with this comment on the Belmont Stakes victory by a horse called American Pharaoh (a suitable epigram for the Obama administration):

The response was swift, sarcastic — and scornful.

This one brings to mind Obama’s “You didn’t build that” statement.
