MSNBC reporter to Miss Piggy – ‘Are you pro-choice?’

Leave it to MSNBC to ask a Muppet a serious political question.

Miss Piggy, the fictional character made famous in Jim Henson’s “The Muppet Show,” received the Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art’s First Award on Wednesday. To mark the monumental occasion, MSNBC, which has become little more than a comedy version of a news organization, got the scoop on the pig.

Entire police dept. disbanded after councilwoman and her son were arrested.

MSNBC reporter Irin Carmon interviewed Miss Piggy on Friday, asking, “Are you pro-choice?”

“I am pro-everything,” the Muppet responded.

Carmon and Miss Piggy were joined by perhaps the world’s most famous feminist, Gloria Steinem, who said of the Muppet, “She totally understands that you can bat your eyelashes and also do karate.”

Carmon gushed about being the one fortunate enough to be granted an interview with the inanimate, fictional character.

“All I can say is it was a great honor to be flanked by two of my heroes growing up: Gloria Steinem and Miss Piggy,” she said.
