Wayman Gresham is a Florida dad who posted a message on Facebook about parents who shame their children on social media.
The video has been seen well over 500,000 times, and shared another 276,000-plus times, and starts off with the impression that you’re about the experience yet another example of the shaming trend.
Gresham appeared on “Fox and Friends” Wednesday morning, where he talked about the video that comes with a surprise ending.
Backlash Gresham has received over a comment about Jesus shows just how much religious liberty is under attack in America today.
Holding barber’s clippers in his hands, Gresham stands over his son.
“I’m here to teach my son a lesson,” he begins in the video.
“You’ve seen the ‘ice bucket challenge,’ you’ve seen the ‘cinnamon challenge.’ Well this is the ‘give my son Isaiah a bald-head messed up haircut challenge,'” Gresham says.
But then he doesn’t.
“There’s no way in the world I would embarrass my son like that,” Gresham said instead. “It doesn’t take all of that.

“Good parenting starts before he even gets to the point of being out of control. Good parenting is getting up in the middle of the night, getting up in the middle of the night and praying for your child. Good parenting is letting your child know that you love them regardless of what they are and who they are and showing them the way by example.
“Not one time on this video have you heard me use profanity. Not one time on this video have you heard me put my son down. What’s important is that you learn to know Jesus Christ, and when you learn to know Jesus Christ, he will show you how to handle your kid.”
It’s time for me to discipline my kid the tough way! Why? I don’t play that!
