President Obama took time Monday to address a concern that really matters for every American.
Bruce Jenner’s transformation into Caitlyn Jenner.
Unlike the death of famed sniper and American hero Chris Kyle or the terrorist murders of four Americans in Benghazi, Libya, Obama responded to the former Olympians debut as a woman on the cover of Vanity Fair with lightning speed, tweeting his support mere hours after the unveiling.
“It takes courage to share your story,” the president tweeted in response to Jenner, who broke the president’s record for fastest new Twitter account to reach 1 million followers.
Never on to miss an opportunity to push the progressive agenda, Obama tweeted three minutes later, asking other lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders people to tell their tale (because they’re not in the news enough these days).
“Your story matters in the fight for LGBT rights—share it here:” Obama tweeted with a link to a page on barackobama.com.
Many in the Twitterverse wanted to know why others were snubbed while Jenner was celebrated by the president.

@BarackObama it takes courage to be a Christain but guess you don’t want to comment on that! Do you?

@WhiteVsBlackTwt @ThePatriot143 Just think if an ISIS dude captured Jenner, I bet Obama would finally go to war.

Obama has praised Bruce Jenner but no idea what to do about ISIS. Keep your eyes on the balls, sir.#Caitlyn #brucejenner #jenner #obama

Obama doesn’t comment on murder or the war on #ISIS but I’m so glad he has time to commend Bruce Jenner on Caitlyn… SMFH

Obama: The best way to keep Iran from going nuclear is to tweet about Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner.

China is building a military base in the middle of the south China Sea,Russia is selling missiles to Iran, but nah Bruce Jenner is important

Obama to Caitlyn Jenner: Way to Go! http://t.co/HXx1L1yxtg via @TMZ Not A WORD on Chris Kyle OR Marcus Lutrell
— Tim (@timdaker) June 2, 2015
It amazes me how Obama can praise the bravery of “Caitlyn” Jenner, yet never acknowledged Chris Kyle’s.
— Heidi Spring (@heidijspring) June 2, 2015
Obama is acknowledging “Caitlyn” Jenner but still doesn’t acknowledge heroes/soldiers like Chris Kyle… Wow
— 〰 Marissa Logsdon 〰 (@TXcherokeee) June 2, 2015
So president Obama can commend Caitlyn Jenner for her “courage,” but Chris Kyle’s wife can’t receive a 30 second phone call after his death.
— Stephanie Brown (@steff17brown) June 2, 2015
OBAMA: Let me be perfectly clear: Caitlyn Jenner is more important than the four dead in Benghazi. ME: (really steamed) oh now he’s done it!
— Ethan Booker (@Ethan_Booker) June 1, 2015
Another reason to hate Obama, he didn’t acknowledge Chris Kyle’s death but he celebrated Bruce Jenner changing genders. Liberal priorities
— Greg (@Greg_Igler) June 1, 2015
The fact that Obama reached out to Jenner for being “courageous” but didn’t even acknowledge Chris Kyle. Wow.
