Rumer has it! Willis wins ‘Dancing With the Stars’ as celebrity mom and dad beam

And then there was one.

Rumer Willis, the daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, won the finale of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” season 20 with her partner professional dancer Val Chmerkovskiy Tuesday night, defeating Army veteran and amputee Noah Galloway who came in second and Glee star Riker Lynch who finished third.

During the show, Rumer talked about how much she loved the competition.

“I think that’s one of the most beautiful things about being able to come and dance live is that you don’t really have the option but to put everything that you have on the floor,” she said. “I feel like, I hope that I’ve done that justice because I love being here and I hope that shows.”

Galloway, a double-amputee who was a favorite among patriots and military supporters, thanked the fans for backing him.

“I thought three weeks was the longest I would be here,” he said modestly. “It’s because of all the support.”

The show featured dances from many of this year’s celebrity contestants, including “Three’s Company” actress Suzanne Somers, 68, business mogul and star of “Shark Tank” Robert Herjavec, 51, and R&B legend Patti LaBelle, 70.

As for Willis, she told reporters she did have a fleeting moment of fright when her name was called to end the show.

“I had this moment where I was like, wait, does that mean we were eliminated or we’re not? Oh, wait, OK, we won! Oh my gosh! This is awesome!” she said.

While posing with her father and his wife, Emma Heming, mom and sister Tallulah Willis, Rumer told reporters who she most wanted to celebrate her victory with.

“I have an incredibly supportive family. They are willing to come and support me and cheer me on in whatever crazy endeavors I decide to do,” she said. “To be honest, the person I’m most excited about celebrating with is Val because he is the person I did this with. I love my family and I love their support but I’m proud and I want to celebrate with him.”

The Twitterverse exploded with congratulations for the new champion.
