Hillary Clinton said she never used more than one email address while she was secretary of state, but she did—and conservatives are getting tired of Republican leaders avoiding the words “she lied.”
The New York Times published 900 pages of Clinton’s emails Monday, and found she used the account “hrod17@clintonemail.com” multiple times while serving in the Obama administration.
Clinton’s lawyer, David Kendall, told South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy that specific address had not “existed during Secretary Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state,” The Blaze reported.
However, The Times documents show that Clinton used the “hrod17@clintonemail.com” address to send emails in 2011 and 2012. She served as secretary of state from January 2009 to February 2013.
Of course, The Times could only publish redacted scans of printed emails, since the originals have been wiped from Clinton’s server.
Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus tweeted what has become an oft-repeated phrase, “Hillary Clinton misled public,” which drew conservative responses: no, she lied.

@Reince @EWErickson In other breaking news, the sun rose in the east today. The Clintons have been lying for decades. Nothing new.

Some speculated on the reason behind Clinton’s secret email “hrod17@clintonemail.com.”
Why was she “hrod17” were they counting their chickens? 17 being the year she’d be inaugurated!? @foxandfriends

Little Known Fact: HROD17 is Bill and Hillary’s knickname for Bill’s little elvis.

“HRod17” sounds more like a screen name that Bill Clinton would use on Match-dot-com.

I believe HROD17 is one of the key characters in the forthcoming new Star Wars.
