A World War II themed commercial from Thailand is taking the Internet by storm.
The three-minute ad, produced by mobile phone company TrueMove, tells the story of a woman who went to Thailand to find the person who helped her charity worker father when he was held as a prisoner of war.
The spot, aptly titled, “The True Meaning of Giving,” alludes to a prisoner-of-war camp in Kanchanaburi, Thailand, where the Japanese forced prisoners to build a railway bridge, according to AdWeek.
TrueMove is no stranger to viral ads. In 2013, the company’s “Giving” spot also tugged at heart strings while attracting millions of views.
