Is terrorism now a partisan issue in the eyes of the Obama administration?
Despite being on the receiving end of a terrorist attack in Texas over the weekend, Pamela Geller said Wednesday that she has not been contacted by either the FBI or the Department of Homeland Security.
During Geller’s appearance Wednesday evening on Fox News’ “Hannity,” host Sean Hannity noted that death threats have been made against her and asked if she’s heard from federal authorities.
Geller, of course, is the anti-Islamic activist who heads the American Freedom Defense Initiative. She organized the Muhammad Art Exhibit and Cartoon Contest Sunday in Garland, Texas, that was attacked by two Muslim terrorists.
The attackers were killed by police officers guarding the event but not before wounding one unarmed guard outside.
As Wednesday’s discussion showed, the danger to Geller isn’t over.
“This is a serious threat,” Hannity said. “Basically a fatwa, a death threat, has now been issued. Your reaction to that? Have you had any contact with the FBI?”

campaign; the reaction is unbelievable!
“They have not contacted me, but of course we’ve now increased my [security] team,” Geller replied. “I have a team now, private security, and NYPD counterterror has been in touch with me.”
Geller did acknowledge that she reached out to the FBI, when asked.
“Homeland Security hasn’t gotten ahold of you, the FBI hasn’t gotten ahold of you?” Hannity asked again.
“No, and this is interesting because this is a terrorist threat,” Geller said. “And the FBI, President Obama should provide security. There’s no question about it. Because he created an environment that raised the stakes on this.”
