The latest example of a criminal proving that he’s not the brightest bulb in the string comes to us from Virginia, where a bank robber posted pictures and video of his crime on Instagram.
Dominyk Antonio Alfonseca posted a photo of the note he handed a TowneBank bank teller Monday, along with video of her handing over the money — he was arrested 20 minutes after robbing the bank, according to WAVY-TV.
But even more bizarre, he insists that he committed no crime, saying he did not threaten anyone and asked for the money politely.
“A robbery is going in and demanding something and taking the money,” Alfonseca told WAVY-TV in a jailhouse interview. “I didn’t do that.”
While he did not explain why he posted the video on social media, he said the fact that he did proves he did not commit a crime.
“I posted the video on my Instagram,” he said. “I videotaped it. If it was a robbery, I don’t think I would videotape it, post the picture of the letter and do that all to come to jail.”

campaign; the reaction is unbelievable!
It’s hard to argue with logic like that.
Nevertheless, Alfonseca was charged with bank robbery and is scheduled to be arraigned on June. It remains to be seen whether the judge feels he committed a crime or not.
