Celebrities galore filled the hall of the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Monday and their fashion was, to say the least, interesting.
The theme of the gala, which has come to be known as the “Oscars of fashion,” was “China: Through The Looking Glass.”
But judging by some of these outlandish outfits, “Smashing The Looking Glass” may have been more apropos.
From a near-naked Beyonce to the flaming headpiece of Sarah Jessica Parker, one outfit looked more outlandish than the next.
The Twitterverse, true to it’s nature, was brutal in it’s assessment.
