CNN’s Alisyn Camerota humiliates herself; gets OWNED by Pamela Geller

Conservative activist Pamela Geller schooled CNN’s Alisyn Camerota on the First Amendment protection of speech Monday after the shooting death of two gunmen at Geller’s Muhammad Art Exhibit and Cartoon Contest on Sunday in Garland, Texas.

The “New Day” host claimed there was a “fine line between freedom of speech and being intentionally incendiary and provocative.”

“Incendiary and provocative?” Geller asked. “A cartoon?”

And then the classroom was called to order.

Geller pointed out that the First Amendment “protects all speech — not just ideas that we like.”

“Even core political speech — ideas that we don’t like — because who’s going to decide what’s good and what’s forbidden? The Islamic State? The government?” she asked.

Then Geller dropped the hammer.

“Inoffensive speech, Alisyn, needs no protection,” she instructed. “But in a pluralistic society you have offensive speech. You have ideas — you have an exchange of ideas. You don’t shut down discussion because I’m offended.”

She also noted that the main problem in Islam — not just radical Islam — is that “we can’t talk about the problem.”

Breitbart’s John Nolte loved the show, and tweeted:

Others agreed, and some even noted that things were probably different for Camerota when she worked for Fox News:
