Since Blue Bell ice cream announced a massive recall of its product, ice cream lovers have voiced their support for the company in a number of highly unusual ways.
A listeria outbreak that health professionals traced to some of the Texas creameryâs product prompted Blue Bell to pull all of its ice cream from grocersâ shelves and engage in a thorough cleaning of its equipment.
In the interim, the ice creamâs fans are waging a company support program worthy of a presidential campaign — including lawn signs and prayer vigils.
And theyâre using social media to call out the troops. Here are a few examples:
