A 72-year-old grandmother is hitting Internet stardom in a video where she holds court lacing into welfare leeches, jobless men and women who she says don’t know how to be women.
The woman, identified only as “Mama Agnes,” lamented the lack of accountability from women today when it comes to raising children.
“We had mothers to raise us. They raised us to be women, raise our own children,” she said, while blaming men for picking bad women. “A woman’s place is in the home. A man’s place is to provide and if he don’t provide then you don’t need him.”
The man recording the interview asked how she felt about the women the men today pick.
“I don’t feel anything ’cause I got my man,” she shot back. “I been had him for 54 years.”
She blasted the laziness of modern parents, and how she said women rely on fast food to feed their man and their children when they should “get your behind in there and cook and feed him. And make sure he gets up off his butt and go to work.”
“They may not like me for saying it, but these younger women today, they don’t even raise their children, their children raising them!” she said.
“A woman’s place is to raise her children, and at the end of the day, tell their husbands which one they had to almost kill. That’s how that goes. That’s why the juvenile center is so full and they’re expanding the jails. Because mother’s don’t raise their children and putting the blame on the man. And the man ain’t worth a quarter because he won’t work.

Agnes then set her sights on those abusing the welfare system.
“I’m 72 years old and I still don’t mind working. I ain’t scared of work. They stay in the system and use up the elderly money,” she said. “They’ve been in the system — and get all them children and expect us to help them take care of them. I’m sick of it.”
Way to go, Mama Agnes.
