November 2016 is more than 18 months away, but Hillary-mania is in full swing, with Newsweek touting that “at least 15,000 news articles” have been written about the likely Democratic presidential nominee’s visit last week to a Chipotle Mexican Grill restaurant.
Media outlets covered everything about the visit, from what she ordered to whether she left change in the tip jar — she did not.
But when the story shifts to include a visit by Republican presidential contender Marco Rubio, suddenly the tone intensifies into an analysis of whether he can properly pronounce the fast food chain’s name.
(Because in the eyes of the media, it’s a given that GOP candidates pale in comparison to intellectually elite progressive Democratic candidates.)
These are the same folks who have already grown tired of whether Clinton violated federal law when she deleted thousands of emails from a private server, even though she has yet to face any real scrutiny from the media on the issue.
The same folks who show little curiosity in her role in the attack on the American consulate in Benghazi that left four Americans dead, including Ambassador Chris Stevens.

For the record, Chipotle is not pronounced “Chipoltay.”
Here’s a sampling from Twitter of some driven to “report” on Rubio’s supposed inability to pronounce the name, and the reaction from others to the media’s malpractice — admittedly, it’s hard to tell who’s being ridiculous and who’s being serious!
