ESPN reporter Britt McHenry has at least one person on her side.
When the sports network suspended McHenry over video that showed her verbally berating a tow company employee, Dana Perino of Fox News’ “The Five” questioned ESPN’s decision.
“Maybe if I was missing some teeth they would hire me, huh? — Cause they look so stunning … Cause I’m on television and you’re in a f*****g trailer, honey,” McHenry said as part of her vicious tirade against the employee in which she also criticized the worker’s education and weight.
The other hosts of “The Five” focused their debate on why McHenry might have behaved in such a reprehensible manner, but Perino wondered if the suspension was justified.

“I’m surprised at ESPN’s decision, actually, because she wasn’t on the clock. She wasn’t working for them,” Perino said. “I realize that you do represent whoever you’re working for, and I hope that I would never be caught in that situation, but I am sort of kind of surprised that they suspended her. It really had nothing to do with ESPN.”
