Has she any standards? Michelle Obama talking to a cat on TV

First lady Michelle Obama is taking herself to a new low by appearing with a cat to promote the “Let’s Move!” campaign, inaugurated by her ostensibly to combat childhood obesity.

Not a big surprise here. She’s merely following the president’s lead by appearing with YouTube stars rather than being interviewed by real journalists who ask real questions. You know the kind — like why teenage obesity has risen significantly since she introduced “Let’s Move.”

The first lady doesn’t have that problem in this video. The best that the YouTube star — known as Lil Bub — can muster is an occasional “meow.”

Lil Bub is no ordinary feline. He has over 160,000 subscribers to his YouTube channel, with each segment known as “Lil Bub’s Big Show.”

His Facebook page, from which merchandise can be purchased at the “Lil Bub store,” has more than 1.8 million “likes.”

But what more-then-likely makes Lil Bub truly special for the first lady is his political correctness. Earlier this week he came out against Indiana’s Religious Freedom Restoration Act, according to MTV.

Others aren’t quite as impressed — with either the cat or the first lady.
