A Pentagon-approved seminar that teaches members of the militiary that modern sexism is rooted in the Bible, the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence is causing a storm of outrage.
And Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly and conservative talk show host Laura Ingraham want to know how much taxpayers paid for it.
The seminar produced by the Florida-based Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute holds America’s founding documents as well as the Bible as sources of oppression — not the freedom they’ve meant for more than 200 years.
“Quotes from the Bible can be misinterpreted as having a sexist influence when brought out of context and not fully understood,” the seminar says, according to the Washington Times.
“In 1776, ‘We the people…’ only included white men: Slaves and women were not included until later in history.”
So this is the drivel they’re feeding our soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines? O’Reilly was appalled.
O’Reilly noted that the voluntary course is now offline and under review — after some 2,000 servicemen and women have already taken it. Sitting in as a guest Tuesday, Ingraham sounded off on the idea, too.
“I wanna know how much money in the Defense Department budget goes to these wacky moonbat ideas, Bill,” she said. “I’d love to know that fact and de-fund that amount.”
And a lot of people on social media were left shaking their heads also:
@FoxNewsInsider @oreillyfactor @IngrahamAngle good grief the Bible and Christ Himself was the most liberating for women.

@FoxNewsInsider @oreillyfactor @IngrahamAngle Sickening. We used to have unity and pride. Now we have fools and emptiness.

If you look hard enough, you can interpret pretty much anything as being sexist or racist. Maybe the trick is to stop looking and just treat everyone as individuals — the way we used to.
