Hysterical yo mama-style jokes tearing up Twitter: ‘Hillary so old . . . ‘

Democrats and the media are constantly harping on Republicans as the party of old, white men, but when the average age of the field of declared and likely GOP presidential contenders puts them closer to Chelsea Clinton‘s prom dates than the Democrats’ current frontrunner, the argument gets not only old, but inane.

There’s no way around it. Hillary Clinton‘s age is going to be an issue as she starts the Long March to the Dem nomination in 2016. The libs will call it sexist, conservatives call it realistic.

But Twitter jokesters just call it funny. And the hashtag campaign #HillarySoOld tells you why.

(Warning: Some of these jokes are so old, Hillary might have heard them when they were fresh.)

But seriously, folks. Hillary’s old mentor Saul Alinsky himself said humor is man’s greatest weapon and when it’s used effectively, it’s devastating.

Hillary’s age, fairly or not, is going to make her a target — and after the media’s star-struck infatuation with Barack Obama in 2008, when he was off-limits to late-night comics and radio jocks alike, the turnaround is going to be refreshing.

And that’s no joke.
