Watch pregnant mom of 6 boys react to news that she’s having a girl

A hilarious viral video captures the moment expectant mom Cher Lair learned her baby’s gender.

Lair is hardly a new mom — she’s already had six kids. But all are boys, and more than anything in the world, she wanted a girl, according to North Carolina ABC affiliate WTVD.

When she cut the cake at her gender reveal party, the color of the slice would let her know whether she and husband Steve would be having another boy (blue) or their first girl (pink).

It was pink.

Lair screamed with joy and fell to the floor in disbelief.

“Are they kidding?” Lair asked, according to the station. “Is this a joke?”
The Lairs had just about given up on ever having a girl.

“Initially, on baby three and four, I’m thinking, ‘They’ll be a girl at some point. They can’t all be boys,’” she told the station. “But after four and five and six, you’re kinda thinking, yeah, they can.”
