A movement is underway to replace Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill with a woman of historical significance.
The campaign, called “Women On 20s,” is an effort by founder Barbara Ortiz Howard to“ literally raise the profile of a woman in a male-dominated field.”
The final four candidates, which the public can vote on, are Eleanor Roosevelt, Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks and Wilma Mankiller (how appropriate).
“It’s a small symbol, but there are millions of bills that are going from hand to hand every day,” Ortiz Howard told NBC.
“In the past 48 hours since the final round started, we’ve had 60,000 people cast votes already,” Susan Ades Stone, the group’s executive director, told ABC News. “Though all these women and many more deserve to be honored, the winner will be a symbol of what we hope are greater things to come.”
The group touts the fact that President Obama said it was a good idea on its website.
The Twitterverse had some interesting takes on the campaign.

@ABC You’re not fooling anyone. This is a drummed up campaign issue to boost the “Entitled Queen of the US” Hillary Clinton.

@MoonRiver112 @ABC we have bigger things to worry about, and better ways to celebrate women.

@schemaly Liberal feminist nonsense.

So against this #WomenOn20s campaign, this is not important when there are so many real feminist issues

If #WomenOn20s actually happened I would promptly go to my bank and exchange them for non Feminist $20 bills #YesAllWomen #Feminism

Am I the only one who feels this #WomenOn20s thing is just stupid? I don’t need a woman on currency to feel validated or equal.
