‘Community navigators’ train immigrants in ‘path to power;’ ACORN-style voter registration racket?

Groups supportive of President Obama’s executive amnesty are training people to organize immigrants on a “path to power” that “could become a voter registration racket.”

With ACORN gone, other organizations are stepping up in its place, using questionable tactics to organize voters who lean decidedly toward the president’s policies.

The Committee for Immigration Reform Implementation is using powerpoint presentations to train “community navigators,” Breitbart reported Thursday.

“Community navigators (or promotores) are volunteers who receive specialized training to provide quality immigration services for their communities in an empowering and effective way,” reads the training program’s description.

“The Committee for Immigration Reform Implementation (CIRI) has developed a curriculum for organizations to use to train navigators who will be engaged in outreach, organizing, screening, document preparation, and/or application assistance related to administrative relief implementation.”

A sampling of slide topics include “Components of Defense, Hosting house meetings, Hosting/attending large info sessions, Signing people up.”

One slide has the headline “VOTE!!” with bullet points reading “Path to Power,” and “If you can’t vote: Register others; Canvas; Participate in campaigns.”

One Republican congressional aide remarked about the slides, “This also looks like it could become a voter registration racket,” according to Breitbart.

“We’ve always known this was about recruiting Democrat voters and fundamentally transforming America. Now they’re not even hiding it anymore,” the aide continued.

“This is classic Chicago politics, and it’s frightening.”
