Actor Rob Lowe scolds Rolling Stone with one stinging hashtag

As a conservative in Hollywood actor Rob Lowe is a rarity and he’s no stranger to using social media, namely Twitter, to make controversial statements.

Such was the case again Tuesday when the “Parks & Recreations” star took a shot at Rolling Stone magazine for its botched University of Virginia rape story by retweeting a tweet he sent in March.

“This UVA “rape” press conference on CNN is surreal. Not a proud day for Rolling Stone’s credibility. #NeverLetTheFactsRuinAGoodStory,” he wrote.

As usual the Twitterverse took notice.
