Adding another element of proof to the idea that virtually every word of protest about events in Ferguson, Mo., turns out based on a lie, the man accused of shooting two police officers during a March 12 demonstration was taped in a jail house phone call confessing to the crime.
According to The Associated Press, Jeffrey Williams can be heard on one of the calls. It wasn’t clear who he was speaking to.
But Williams relates that the shooting stemmed from a dispute he was having with another group of people at the protest – the same story he gave detectives after his March 15 arrest.
“Nobody aiming at no police,” Williams is heard saying on the recording. “I ran up the hill and he [unidentified] shot at the car … I shot back.”
Williams clearly regrets the action that left two police officers critically wounded – but not necessarily because the cops got hurt.
“Even though I was in the wrong, though, I should have just went the other way,” he said on the recording. “Oh man, now I’m looking at 10 years.”
Besides what Williams said on the recording, note what he didn’t say. He didn’t say he never fired a gun that night and had been beaten by cops into confessing – as his lawyer and a clergyman claimed.
Just like “hands up, don’t shoot” was a lie the liberal media pushed on the whole country – with reverberations that will continue for years – the story of Williams’ beating at the hands of police was a lie.
And they’ll keep on lying as long as they can get away with it.
