Unexplainable statement from Lois Lerner’s attorney just WRONG!

After it was revealed Tuesday that the Department of Justice would not charge for IRS official Lois Lerner with a crime her attorney made one of the most ironic statements ever.

“Anyone who takes a serious and impartial look at this issue would conclude that Ms. Lerner did not waive her Fifth Amendment rights,” the statement from her attorney, William Taylor III, read. “It is unfortunate that the majority party in the House put politics before a citizen’s constitutional rights.”

The irony of that statement cannot be overstated.

What Lerner and the IRS did is precisely what her attorney has accused Republicans in the House of doing. Putting politics before citizen’s constitutional rights.

And she got away with it.

The Twitterverse blasted the statement for the hypocritical hogwash that it is.
