Global warming makes women prostitutes? California Dem earns an earful of scorn

House Democrat Barbara Lee may have learned a hard lesson on what not to do while trying to garner support for a cause that’s quickly losing favor.

The Californian stated in a proposed resolution Wednesday that women will eventually need to resort to selling sex when food and water become scarce due to global warming – because according to Lee, even the weather is sexist.

Lee warned that climate change will victimize women and the poor disproportionately, and tried to create a dire scenario so horrific it had to be taken seriously.

Only, it wasn’t.

At least not by those who see through the scare tactics meant to push a radical political agenda.

Her resolution goes on at length and included the following:

Whereas food insecure women with limited socioeconomic resources may be vulnerable to situations such as sex work, transactional sex, and early marriage that put them at risk for HIV, STIs, unplanned pregnancy, and poor reproductive health.

Leave it to an entrenched far-left progressive to combine climate change, women’s inequality, and re-productive health all into one small blurb.

Tweeters won’t be losing sleep over Lee’s prophetic resolution any time soon.

Yes, Barbara Lee from Congress.
