‘Dancing with the Stars’ double amputee vet gets surprise from Army girlfriend after live performance

In one of the most heartwarming moments in the history of the show, ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars” on Monday featured a touching reunion of two Army veterans.

One of this season’s competitors is Noah Galloway, an Army veteran who lost two of his limbs after a bomb exploded near him in Iraq in 2005. He had just completed his dance with partner Sharna Burgess — one that he dedicated to his girlfriend, who he believed was still overseas — when the surprise happened.

Co-host Erin Andrews was interviewing Galloway when suddenly his girlfriend, Jamie Boyd – a specialist in the Army Reserves, emerged from the shadows.

The two embraced, kissed and captivated the audience in a magical moment.

It was enough to get the Twitterverse swooning.
