Father teaches bully son a lesson in humility he won’t soon forget

When a Wisconsin, father learned that his son had been accused of bullying a classmate, justice was both swift and harsh — and is likely to leave a lasting impression.

The moment Timothy Robenhorst was told what his son, Kayden, had done, he told the boy that he had to make it right. He had to apologize to the person he’d bullied in front of the entire class, according to the Daily Mail.

Humiliating, yes, but necessary.

Things didn’t stop there, though. The elder Robenhorst wanted to make sure his son was left with a lasting impression.

Father and son arise each morning at 4:30 to engage in a series of calisthenics worthy of a Marine Corps Parris Island boot camp.

The workout begins with 50 pushups (while dad apparently enjoys his morning cup of joe), followed by more strenuous incline pushups and a mile run. One mile may not seem like a lot until you realize this is Green Bay, not Miami Beach. Early morning temperatures are below zero on the Celsius scale.

Finally, Kayden has to do the landscaping at the two properties owned by his father, for an unspecified period of time.

Now comes the unkindest cut of them all — social media.

Kids live and breathe by social media, and Kayden has to confess and atone for his sins in front of the whole world of Facebook.

A photo was posted of father and son holding a sign announcing what Kayden had done and what his punishment is. The elder Robenhorst posted the photo on his own page, as well as his son’s, where people are encouraged to share.

“I teach my kids they do not start fights but if someone puts their hands on them they finish it,” Robenhorst wrote beneath the photo.

“This is what happens when you become a bully! I don’t put up with it and at 4:30am today my son found out what happens when you pray [sic] on people for no reason and bully!” he continued.

“Please share this to end this behavior everywhere! Nothing changes until you take a stance and it only takes one person to start a revolution!”

I hope Robenhorst starts a revolution also, and not just for bullying — sassing elders, filthy language, refusal to do chores or poor grades at school come to mind.

I’m not gonna hold be breath, but I have my fingers crossed.
