Angry Elton John leads boycott of Dolce and Gabbana for their ‘synthetic’ children views

Music superstar Elton John is fuming at the Dolce and Gabbana fashion house for a statement its  openly homosexual founders made against in vitro fertilization to an Italian magazine last week.

“We oppose gay adoptions. The only family is the traditional one,” the statement said, according to the magazine Panorama. “No chemical offsprings and rented uterus: life has a natural flow, there are things that should not be changed.”

“You are born to a mother and a father – or at least that’s how it should be,” co-founder Domenico Dolce said, according to Panorama. “I call children of chemistry, ‘synthetic children.’ Rented uterus, semen chosen from a catalog.”

His business partner and former life partner Stefano Gabbana agreed and added, “The family is not a fad. In it there is a supernatural sense of belonging.”

John vented his frustrations on Instagram Sunday.

“How dare you refer to my beautiful children as ‘synthetic’. And shame on you for wagging your judgemental little fingers at IVF – a miracle that has allowed legions of loving people, both straight and gay, to fulfil their dream of having children,” John wrote.

“Your archaic thinking is out of step with the times, just like your fashions. I shall never wear Dolce and Gabbana ever again.”

He ended the post with the hashtag #BoycottDolceGabbana, which has since been picked up by others on social media.

The irony here is that people who espouse free speech and rights for all want to boycott two gay men because they have beliefs different from their own.
