Oscar-winning conservative actor Jon Voight questioned President Obama’s regard for Israel and likened the nuclear deal the president is trying to strike with Iran with Neville Chamberlain’s “peace deal with Hitler.”
In a YouTube video posted Saturday, a very frank and straightforward Voight said the president’s “whole agenda is to control Israel. In this way, he can be friends with all of Israel’s enemies.”
“I love Israel, and I want to see Israel survive,” he said. “I don’t want to see it overtaken by the mad men of this world. President Obama does not love Israel.”
Voight accused Obama of not wanting Benjamin Netanyahu to win reelection in Israel’s upcoming election.
“America has not been the same since his presidency. I beg everyone, all of you, to understand the truth,” he said.
The actor cautioned that “we must learn from history where the true danger lies,” after saying anyone who believes “deal-making is the solution to what Israel faces are as wrong as Neville Chamberlain believing he made a peace deal with Hitler.”
“I pray to God to keep Israel safe, and America as well.”
