St. Louis County police have made an arrest in connection with the shooting of two police officers in Ferguson, Mo.
Details of the arrest were being made public at news conference scheduled to begin at 2:30 Central Time, but the St. Louis County Police Department published the news via Twitter and expressed gratitude to the public.

The shooting occurred just after midnight Thursday as a demonstration ended outside the Ferguson Police Department to mark the resignation of the Ferguson police chief.
One officer from the nearby town of Webster Groves was shot in the face, according to NBC News. The other officer was struck in the shoulder.
Neither wound was life-threatening, but the officer shot in the face still has the bullet lodged in his head, NBC reported.
