The price of being the Celebrity-in-Chief is costly as evidenced by the reported $2 million price tag for the president’s trip to California to fundraise and follow mega liberal Sean Penn on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
According to a report by Andrew Malcolm of Investors Business Daily the flight on Air Force One alone cost taxpayer $206,000 per hour, or approximately $1 million each way.
The Twitterverse was not too pleased about the tag team combination of Penn and Obama, with one tweeter even writing “The Marxist stars have aligned.”
