Jane Fonda blames rise in terrorism on ‘patriarchy’

Jane Fonda, the woman more famous for insulting people than for the movies she’s starred in, is doubling down in her feminist fight and telling the world that all of society’s problems stem from an imbalance of male dominated power.

“The most intractable problem that humanity faces is the problem of patriarchy,” Fonda told the AP.

The famous feminist is getting ready to push her campaign by the women’s rights group, Equality Now at the U.N. on March 12.

Fonda has worked relentlessly – for decades – to emasculate men though activism and women’s rights groups.

According to her interview with the AP, she feels that feminists have made progress but the movement still has a lot of work to do.

Male power is “wounded but there’s nothing more dangerous than a wounded beast, thrashing about, flailing its tail with the barbs on it, and a lot of people are really getting hurt badly,” Fonda said.

It’s no surprise to anyone that Fonda blames men for keeping women “suppressed,” as she sees it, in the business world. But she tried to strengthen that sentiment by blaming male power for the destruction of the environment – and for the rise of terrorism.

The antidote, according to Fonda, is to elect more women to public office. She also urged women to rise up “in the streets” and be more vocal through social media.

She did in fact get a rise from people on social media.

There’s a thought. Wouldn’t that be something?
