Michelle Malkin: They should have put me up on the stage with Jeb Bush!

Its safe to say Michelle Malkin is not a fan of Republican presidential nominee frontrunner Jeb Bush.

“Obviously, I don’t like any candidate whose name is Jeb or Bush,” she said in a BizPac Review interview Friday at the Conservative Political Action Conference.

Having two school age-children, one of Malkin’s biggest concerns is education. Her opposition to the Common Core standards Bush supports is legendary.

When asked why she thought Bush is still championing the Common Core curriculum in spite of the groundswell of opposition to it, she gave a pointed response.

“I would love to be on stage with Jeb Bush today to ask him that,” she said.

Malkin holding Bush’s feet to the fire would’ve been a great sight to see, but it was not to be.

“He’s got deep pockets and a huge propaganda machine,” Malkin said. “He profits from this top down imposition of non-standards on the rest of the country. He’s got U.S. Chamber of Commerce backing and he’s got a non profit, ‘The Foundation For Educational Excellence,’ which is basically like Net Neutrality, the same sort of let’s pretend title to distract from the real agenda.”

She also spoke about a recent article by the Washington Post on how Twitter, Malkin and likeminded citizens are changing the debate around Common Core.

“It doesn’t matter if you have 800,000 followers or 10,” she said. “It’s the sheer volume everyday, being out there on the playing field.
