A New York Department of Social Services employee was arrested Wednesday for committing a hate crime after grabbing a woman by the hair, bashing her head against a pole while making anti-white statements.
This reportedly occurred at about 5:30 p.m. Did someone have a bad day?
The victim, 25, was wearing headphones while texting when she accidentally bumped shoulders with the social worker, Michelle Berrio, 43, as she was exiting a Manhattan subway station.

The younger woman did not seek hospitalization for her injuries.
Borrio was arrested soon after the incident and is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday on the charge of “assault as a hate crime,” authorities told DNAinfo.
