Did Hillary Clinton just steal signature lines from Carly Fiorina?

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton must be a big fan of Carly Fiorina.

Clinton apparently lifted a campaign line from the former head of Hewlett-Packard and potential 2016 GOP presidential candidate Fiorina.

At a speaking event in Silicon Valley, according to the Daily Caller, Clinton told those in attendance to “unlock their full potential.” It’s not only a line Fiorina has used extensively but also one that closely resembles the name of Fiorina’s PAC the “Unlocking Potential Project.”

As Fiorina explained in an exclusive BizPac Review interview published Tuesday, part of the mission statement for her states “We must unlock the full potential of every American and unleash the power of this great nation.”

It’s not the first time Clinton has been accused of copying Fiorina either.

Fiorina Clinton Books

As the Daily Caller pointed out, the title of Clinton’s book “Hard Choices” released in June received criticism from many for its resemblance to Fiorina’s 2007 memoir “Tough Choices.”

But the admiration doesn’t seem to go both ways.

Fiorina spoke to guests at a luncheon in Atlanta hosted by Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp Tuesday when she took a shot at Clinton’s presidential qualifications, Fox News reported.

“Like Hillary Clinton, I too have traveled hundreds of thousands of miles around the globe,” she said, repeating a jab she took at Clinton last month at the Iowa Freedom Summit. “But unlike Hillary Clinton, I know that flying is an activity, not an accomplishment.”

She also took aim at the recent revelation that the Clinton Foundation has been accepting foreign donations for years, causing a potential conflict of interest if Clinton were to become president.

“Really? This is the best we can do is to have yet another decade of campaign finance scandals?” she said.
