Be careful who you curse at on the way to a job interview . . . KARMA may be waiting

The funny thing about karma is that you never know when it’s going to rise  up and take a bite out of your rear-end, as London commuter on his way to a job interview discovered recently.

The impatient man took exception to a fellow commuter’s display of chivalry toward a female passenger on a busy rush-hour train, shoving the man and suggesting he go f*** himself, according to Buzzfeed.

But, as fate would have it, that fellow commuter turned out to be the recruiting manager he was going to see!

“I was on my way into work on the Tube on Monday morning during rush hour,” Matt Buckland told Buzzfeed. “I stood to one side to let a lady get by, and ended up blocking a man momentarily.”

Buckland, a human resources executive with an investment firm, said the hurried man must have thought he was intentionally blocking him.

“He pushed and I turned, I explained I was getting off too but he pushed past and then looked back and suggested I might like to f*** myself…which might have been true but not before a few cups of coffee.”

(Gotta love the British sense of humor.)

In a display of just how self-absorbed he may be, the crude applicant did not immediately realize the man sitting across from him at the job interview was the same man he had just told to go f*** himself.

“‘I think it crept up on him slowly as my questions became more and more Tube related,” Buckland said.

As for his aforementioned sense of humor, the human resources manager decided to share his story on social media. His tweet, seen here, has been re-tweeted over 18,000 times:

Not surprisingly, the job seeker was not offered a job. On a more positive note, there apparently were no hard feelings over the incident.

“By the end of the interview we laughed it off and we’re both happy,” Buckland said.

Buckland’s tweet prompted many responses, including a few who enjoy seeing karma in action:
