Furious Fox hosts hit back at Holder: ’45 people burned alive … yet Fox is the problem?’

Soon-to-be-former Attorney General Eric Holder has spent six years in office blaming Fox News for the administration’s awful shortcomings – and it doesn’t look like he’s going to change now.

In an appearance at the National Press Club on Tuesday, Holder was asked once again why the Obama administration is so incapable of naming the threat to the country posed by Islamic extremism.

Instead of answering he chose to blame the one major network that has pursued an independent editorial stance in the Age of Obama for drawing attention to his own intellectual dishonesty.

“We spend more time talking about what do you call it as opposed to what do you do about it. You know, really, if Fox didn’t talk about this, they’d have nothing else to talk about,” Holder said.

And on Wednesday morning, the crew at “Fox & Friends” made him pay for it.

It’s hard to tell which is worse, the lie that Fox hosts are the only people in the United States that are wondering why the administration can’t call out Islamist murderers for what they are, or the lie that the Obama White House is all that interested in actually doing something about Islamist terror, which brings more victims with every day’s headlines.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck laid out the terms clearly.

“You’ve got to be kidding me,” she said. “You have 21 Coptic Christians beheaded on a shoreline. You have 45 people burned alive … Yet Fox is the problem?”

Co-host Steve Doocy emphasized the point. ISIS is playing a life-and-death struggle for keeps. The Obama administration and its feckless leadership are word games.

“They want to kill us and yet the attorney general, chief law enforcement officer for the United States of America, is bugged by the fact that Fox brings up the accurate point they are Islamic extremists, ‘let’s call it Islamic extremism,’” Steve Doocy said.

“Obviously, this administration talks tougher about Fox News than they do about ISIS, which, that’s sad.”
