Liberals are aghast over the fact that possible presidential candidate Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, does not fit into the elite club status because he never graduated college – and a comment by Rush Limbaugh may just have sent them over the edge.
The news of Walker’s decision to leave Marquette University before completing his degree was highlighted by the Washington Post and created a stir.
Anything to distract from the Wisconsin Governor’s successful record on budget balancing, employment, and winning tough elections was enough to push this ‘non-story,’ story into the liberal ethos.
Wildly successful radio host and fellow college dropout Rush Limbaugh weighed in on the manufactured controversy over whether or not Walker is fit to hold the office of presidency because he doesn’t have a four-year degree.
Limbaugh was quick to point out the fact that liberals are the ones who’ve been bashing colleges relentlessly, especially the young men, over a perceived ‘rape culture’ which they believe dominates campus life.
If Walker is asked about why he made the decision to drop out, he should say it was because he “didn’t want to be accused of rape someday,” Limbaugh told his audience.
“Now he can’t say that, of course,” Limbaugh said. “But, I mean, just ram it right down their throats. They’re trying to create their ‘rape culture’ on the campus.
“It seems like any man that goes to college could randomly be accused of committing rape! And whether the story’s true or not, doesn’t matter,” he said.
In short, Limbaugh mentioned that Walker might want to say that he removed himself from campus before he could be accused of being a mean guy.
The left-wing blogosphere took the Limbaugh bait (as usual) and is absolutely mortified by his joke.
