The Southern Poverty Law Center issued an apology and scrubbed Dr. Ben Carson’s from it’s “Extremist Watch List” after receiving wide public outcry.
Legal Insurrection’s William A. Jacobson alerted conservatives that Carson’s name was on the list last week, sparking a firestorm.
Fox News host Bill O’Reilly interviewed Carson about the issue this week on “The O’Reilly Factor.”
Social media took note, and heaped scorn on the SPLC:

Now that the good doctor has been removed, let’s see what we can do about getting the Southern Poverty Law Center to stop calling the tea party movement racist — or would that be asking for too much?
