Hillary would like us to ‘empathize’ with the Taliban child killers

Hillary Clinton probably considered it a bold, “new, new Democrat” approach to tell the country we should “empathize” with our enemies earlier this month, but the realities of the daily news make it seem more like timidity instead.

With the aftermath of the Sydney hostage crisis Monday and as word of the Taliban savagery in Pakistan spread Tuesday, with its ever growing body count of murdered children, mockery of Clinton’s Dec. 3 speech spread too.

None of it bodes well for the Democrats’ putative frontrunner for 2016.

Here’s a sampling.

That’s true enough.

But for some reason the words “irresponsible and, frankly, naive” come to mind.

Period.
